Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird … it’s a plane … no, it’s a drone! Drone technology is revolutionizing everyday life and projected to be a multibillion-dollar industry over the next ten years. Campers will form entrepreneurial teams to learn about aerodynamics and build their own drone. They’ll develop flight safety and operational skills, plan search and rescue missions, and even collect aerial imagery! Time-trial racing through an obstacle course and flying using First Person View (FPV) goggles provides an even more immersive experience. All campers will earn an Academy of Model Aeronautics Youth Membership.
